The scanner has two modes: Stand Mode for hands-free scanning and Handheld Mode for when you pick it up. Stand mode supports fast, hands-free scanning. Handheld Mode is automatically activated by the built-in accelerometer and gives you targeted scanning with Datalogic’s Green Spot Technology for good-read confirmation. The scanner can quickly and easily read 1D, 2D, and Digimarc barcodes, including truncated, poorly printed, and damaged labels, or on smartphone screens, for future-ready performance and maximum decoding flexibility. It also supports GS1 Digital Link and OCR (Optical Character Recognition), which enables the scanner to capture not only barcodes but also printed text such as serial numbers, lot codes, or expiration dates.
